At least 63,000 people live in houses and apartments destroyed by the war.
In just a few days, more than 25,000 Ukrainians have applied for the housing rehabilitation program through the “Action” application. This is stated in a video address by President Vladimir Zelensky.
From mid-April, it will be possible to register the application in an offline format, registration for the restoration of the premises will be handled by the Centers for Administrative Services (CPAU).
The President confirmed that the state service “Action” has started accepting applications for compensation for destroyed real estate.
“The state will return to our people everything that the occupiers destroyed – houses, apartments,” Zelensky said.
He reminded of the need to tell the new state program to everyone who needs it. This is especially true for the elderly, who do not always know how to use online services.
Algorithm of actions to obtain compensation from the state for destroyed housing
Ukrainians who have been harmed can apply:
- private houses (manor, country and garden);
- apartments;
- other living quarters (for which a separate property right is registered, and not as part of the house).
To submit an application, select the item “Reports of damaged property” in the “Services” menu item and fill in the appropriate form.
To do this, specify:
- Full name;
- individual tax number;
- contact details (telephone and e-mail address);
- information about the object that was damaged.
If the data on the object is stored in the State Register of Rights (FRR), they will appear in the application automatically.
After entering the data and registering the application, it can be conveniently downloaded in PDF format and receive an electronic copy by e-mail.
Then wait for the notification of the start of the evaluation and compensation procedure.
