This was reported by analysts of the developer of the face recognition system NTechLab, according to Russian media.

And in grocery stores, goods are often stolen immediately with the basket. The number of such crimes increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2021.

The top 5 categories that most often involved criminals in February-April this year included confectionery (19% of all thefts), sausages 16%), alcohol (14%), cheese (13%), coffee and cocoa. 7%).

The average amount of stolen goods was 1.5 thousand rubles, which is 25% more than a year earlier.

The theft of goods at self-service checkouts has become a trend. According to NTechLab, the number of participants in such machinations increased by 34% during the period under review.

His network often tries to steal the products of expensive Western brands: “apparently, if you take risks, you take full risks.”

Recall that it was previously reported that the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation expects the Russian economy to fall in 2022 at 8.8%.

They predict that by 2023 the decline will slow to 1.9%, and for the year – to 1.6%. But by 2026, the aggressor's GDP will increase again by 1.9%.
