In Belarus, sugar prices have risen so as not to be exported to Russia

Sugar sellers will set their own prices.

Sugar prices have risen in the country since today to avoid mass deportation. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade with reference to the relevant document, writes Blizko.by

Retail prices for sugar will be determined by the entities themselves retail and wholesale trade by applying trade or wholesale surcharges to selling prices of producers (importers). Alternatively, these surcharges will be applied to revalued prices during the revaluation of sugar in amounts that may exceed those set by government agencies.

The document came into force on April 15.
