“Hunger should not be a weapon”: Almost 4.5 tons of grain are blocked in Ukrainian ports – according to the UN

In Ukrainian ports remains blocked about 4.5 tons of grain. Grain cannot be exported, most sea routes are closed due to large-scale war. The situation in the ports of Ukraine was stated by the representative of the UN World Food Program Martin Frick, Radio Svoboda reports.

The situation is particularly affecting the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia, where millions of people are on the brink of starvation and cheap bread is in fact one of the few ways to survive.
