Turkey expects to use natural gas produced at the bottom of the Black Sea next year. This was stated by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Fatih Dönmez. According to Takvim, a 320 billion cubic meter deposit was discovered in the Black Sea in 2020. At present, Turkey produces gas at a depth of one thousand meters and transports it. Dönmez is confident that his compatriots will be able to use it in 2023.

“In a year, these days, if all goes well, we will be able to use our own gas at home,” the source was quoted as saying.
