Four naturalized Russian biathletes were expelled from the national team of Ukraine

Athletes will no longer play for the Ukrainian team.

Naturalized Russian biathletes Olga Abramova, Katerina Bekh and Oksana Moskalenko has been excluded from the national team of Ukraine, biathlon.com.ua reports.

This was stated by coach Yevhen Kolupaev.

The official reason for this decision is that the athletes did not meet the criteria to be included in the team and receive salaries. At the same time, immediately after the start of the Russian military invasion, Abramov, Bekh and Moskalenko left the training camp and went to Russia.

It should be noted that there are two Russian women left in the national team. These are Nadiya Belkina and Anastasia Rasskazova. The first went to serve in the Armed Forces, and the second did not go to Russia after the war. The team will also include Daria Blashko from Belarus, who is engaged in volunteer activities.
