In particular, before taking a position in the Security Service of Ukraine, Andriy Naumov managed the state enterprise “Center for Organizational, Technical and Information Support of Exclusion Zone Management”. The DBR also said that it had already conducted searches of “persons who may be involved in the collection and transfer to a foreign state, foreign organization or ïx representatives of information constituting a state secret” in the case of treason against Naumov.

“Currently, the necessary measures are being taken to establish all the objective circumstances of the criminal offense and persons who may be involved in cooperation with special services and the occupying forces of the aggressor's country,” the agency said.It should be noted that Andriy Naumov left abroad a few hours before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army on February 24. On June 7, Naumov was detained at a border crossing with northern Macedonia in southern Serbia on suspicion of money laundering. He was detained together with Alexander Axt, a German citizen who is on the sanctions list in Ukraine. They found 600,000 euros, 125,000 dollars and at least two valuable emeralds in the car they were driving. The detainees are currently being held in the city of Nis in southern Serbia.
