Forced injection into Gazprom's gas storage facilities started in Germany

These statistics confirm the information about what started forced filling of Gazprom's underground gas storage facilities in western Germany. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the German press. The storage capacity belongs to Gazprom Export.

It is specified that the injection is still very small: for May 7 and 8 – about a million cubic meters. However, the external leader hopes to increase the intensity of the injection, the German press quoted him as saying.

The EU is discussing a sixth package of sanctions against Russia with a phased oil embargo on Russia. At the same time, Russia is preparing to reduce oil production and the introduction of the EU “ceiling” of prices.

Earlier it was reported that the European Commission's plan to cut off Russian gas supplies contains energy savings and a commitment to share resources with each other.
