Forbes: 25% of gas stations ignore government regulations and raise prices at their discretion

Some gas stations sell fuel only “for their own”.

State regulation of fuel prices in Ukraine has not been abolished, but despite this, some gas stations sell it a third more expensive and at the same time invent different payment schemes. This was reported by Forbes.

According to Upeco analyst Oleksandr Syrenko, about 1,000 gas stations, or 25% of the total market, have abandoned the rules introduced by the state.

For example, in the NG gas station network in Vinnytsia gasoline is sold only on coupons. To buy a coupon, you need to pay a bill of at least 200 liters at a price of 55.5 UAH per liter. At the Oil-x gas station in Zhytomyr, “only their own people are refueling.” To become “your own”, you need to come to this gas station and make an agreement.

In Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, gasoline is at one of the two GOG gas stations. At this gas station there are restrictions – 20 liters per car, price – 56.5 UAH/liter.
