Near Avdiivka, militants fired 60 minutes at the positions of the Armed Forces.

During the past 24hrs, no Ukrainian servicemen were killed and was not wounded as a result of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense on anti-terrorist operation. – he said during a briefing.

In the Luhansk direction recorded three enemy shelling. All of them took place near Popasna in the second half of the day. At the same time, the militants did not use heavy weapons.

In the Donetsk direction the militants fired several shots at the Svitlodarska arch and near Horlivka. One of them was a mortar. In Novoselivka Druha and Kamianets, the occupiers also used mortars. Active hostilities continue near Avdiivka, the occupiers fired at the positions of the Armed Forces for at least 12 hours, and the greatest combat activity in this area was recorded in the afternoon. According to the positions of the Ukrainian military, 60 mines were fired, enemy snipers and armored vehicles worked here. Fighting was also fought in Opytny and Pisky. In total, for the past 24hrs, 18 enemy shellings have been recorded in the Donetsk direction, including eight from heavy weapons.

The shelling of Avdiivka by large-caliber artillery and MLRS has already led to serious destruction and casualties.
