Dnipro-1 midfielder Bill scored a goal for Brazilian Sport Recife in the Nordes Cup final match against Fortaleza (1-1).

The 22-year-old Brazilian commented to journalists after the match and with tears in his eyes dedicated this goal to the Ukrainian people and teammates from Ukraine:

“I've asked God for this goal many times in prayer. I don't want to cry … I left because of the war. It's very hard, because we left our house for a dream, and now we had to leave it. It's so sad.

I asked God for this goal because I wanted to dedicate it to my teammates and all Ukrainians living in this difficult situation. Thank God he gave me a goal at that moment. ”
