Europe's largest tour operator is demanding that Turkish hotels remove Russians

This is both the cancellation of the reservation and the eviction of those who have already arrived at the hotel.

A representative of the largest European tour operator TUI Tantur sent a request to hotels in Turkey, which refers to the need to cancel the reservation of all tourists from Russia. This was reported by the newspaper Turizmgazetesi.

According to the tour operator, it is even about those Russians who have already settled in the rooms. According to TUI Tantur, they should be evicted.

The company explained this requirement by the fact that travel companies that send European vacationers to Turkey have issued an ultimatum to there were no Russians in the hotels where their clients would stay.

The publication clarifies that individual travelers from Europe also require hotels to stop working with Russians.

TUI clarified that the requirement must be met by May 31, but after the 20th of the month the norm may be extended for every 30 days. Otherwise, the tour operator promises to terminate cooperation with Turkish hotels.

The tour operator also closed the Russian branch of TUI Tantur in Turkey, laid off employees and blocked computers.

It will be recalled that earlier Russian media reassured Russians that Turkey is creating airline to transport Russian tourists to resorts.

Allegedly, the Turkish authorities have approved a three-stage “road map” to attract Russian tourists to the country under sanctions, in particular, it is planned to create a new airline for charter transportation to resorts. Thanks to this airline, it was planned to attract one million Russian tourists.

In addition, Turkish Airlines allegedly agreed with tour operators from Russia to provide them with blocks of seats on flights. As expected in Russia, taking into account the flights of Pegasus Airlines, some Russian airlines and blocks of seats to Turkey will be able to attract at least 2 million travelers from Russia.

Recall this summer for Russians closed both international tourism and travel to the south of Russia .

For a month of sanctions in Russia already canceled one million tickets . The reason is the cessation of flights to the southern regions of Russia, as well as abroad.

The work of airports in the southern regions of Russia has been suspended due to the panic in the regions bordering Ukraine, which began after the Russian army invaded Ukrainian lands. Initially, Russia clearly did not expect the war to last long, and introduced a ban on flights over the territory of the Southern Federal District only until March 2. However, as it is known from the message of the Russian Ministry of Transport, flights are not carried out to this day.

And the Russians can no longer fly to Western countries for two reasons. First, for them there is a closed sky for flights. Yes, The European Union's Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has suspended the permits and licenses of dozens of Russian airlines following the imposition of EU sanctions on Russia. The sky for Russian planes has also been closed in the United States and Canada .

Second, for fear of losing planes that Russia actually stole without returning them at the request of Western lessors , the terrorist country has suspended international flights since March 6.

Putin seems to have figured out where to send the “Russian tourist” this summer, instead of trips to currently inaccessible foreign resorts . And instructed the government to increase cashback for travelers to the Far East. The problem is that this region is inaccessible and will not become more accessible due to sanctions imposed on Russia's airline. Aircraft are already being launched in Russia without certificates of airworthiness .

Russian sites you can find reviews about holidays in the Far East. There is a lack and underdeveloped infrastructure, including transport, underdeveloped service, lack of clear navigation and communication, remoteness and inaccessibility of attractions.
