Due to sanctions, the Russian Olympians could not be given the promised cars

Winners of the Games will be satisfied with rubles.

Russian medalists of the Winter 2022 Olympics Beijing will not be able to get the promised prize cars, RBC reports, citing the “Russian Olympians Support Fund”.

This happened after the imposition of sanctions over Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and foreign manufacturers can no longer provide Russian athletes with the required number of cars.

It is reported that instead of exclusive foreign cars, athletes will receive monetary compensation in rubles. It should be noted that the JKR team in China won a total of 32 medals.

It will be recalled that on February 24, Russian President Putin made an urgent statement on a special military operation in Ukraine, launching a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian cities.

< After that, Russian sport began to plunge into complete isolation. In fact, there are no federations left that have excluded Russians from their competitions.
