Australia will provide $100 million in military-technical aid to Ukraine

The country will help Ukrainian border guards with equipment.

Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albenizi under during his historic visit to Ukraine, he promised to provide $100 million in military-technical aid.

“Today we are announcing an additional $100 million in military-technical aid. In total, we have already provided $390 million,” – he said on Sunday at a briefing in Kyiv after a meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

“We are also additionally providing 14 armored personnel carriers and 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles. Thus, the total number of Bushmasters was 60,” he said, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to Prime Minister, Australia will also provide additional military equipment, drones.

“In addition, we will provide assistance to the border forces of Ukraine: improving equipment, cyber security and border control,” Anthony Albenizi said.
