The negotiation process was suspended after evidence of Russian atrocities near Kyiv appeared.

Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich Ukrainian-Russian talks as a “mediator”, came to Kyiv to intensify them, Fortune writes, citing informed sources.

Abramovich met with Ukrainian negotiators to discuss ways to resume talks that stalled after evidence of Russian military atrocities against civilians, “the report said.

Abramovich's spokesman/strong> declined to comment.

There have been no changes in the talks since March 29, when another round took place in Istanbul. Negotiations at the lower level continue via video link, but there are almost no signs of progress.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the terrible truth that emerged after the liberation of Bucha and other cities in Kyiv region , complicated the prospects for negotiations.
