A Polish network of gas stations will enter Ukraine

Negotiations have already taken place at the highest state and government levels.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi discussed with Polish President Andrzej Duda the entry of Polish companies into the Ukrainian fuel market. He told this in an interview with Polish media.

“The Polish company came to us, met with our Naftogaz and the Minister of Energy. They really want to visit our “We have a large network open. I think they will come,” said the President.

According to him, this issue was discussed with the President of Poland. It was also discussed by the prime ministers of the two countries. It will be recalled that the Cabinet of Ministers promises that the fuel shortage at gas stations will be eliminated within a week. However, fuel prices are a bit more expensive.

Operators have contracted volumes in Western Europe, and now the question of how to import them into Ukraine as soon as possible is being resolved.

< At the end of April, queues near gas stations began to be published on social networks and in the media. Gas stations in Kyiv, Odesa and other cities have reduced the sales limit from 20 to 10 liters per car. Experts explain the shortage of fuel by the shutdown of the Kremenchug refinery, as well as the rising cost of logistics chains for transporting fuel from Europe. The government has limited margins on gas stations, but this has led to an increase in retail fuel shortages.
